We are now looking for a driven controller for our finance department in Bjuv for Bruks Siwertell AB

About the position

Would you like to work in an international company in a developing and changing environment together with colleagues from various departments?

As a controller at Bruks Siwertell AB, you are responsible for driving and quality assuring financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting with a focus on orders, results, and balance sheets. You have overall responsibility for ensuring that the figures are correct, complete, and comply with applicable accounting principles. An important part of the assignment is also to ensure that the financial information in the business system SAP S4 Hana is reliable and up-to-date, so that the decision-making materials are of high quality. You report to Finance Director Lars Melander but also work closely with other colleagues in the finance department as well as colleagues in the Operations and Service departments.

Responsibilities

Examples of responsibilities:

• Be responsible for analysis and follow-up of revenues, gross profit, and gross margin compared to budget and forecast.
• Continuously follow up and analyze projects and sales orders, identify deviations, and provide feedback to the business.
• Ensure that forecast materials are continuously updated and correct.
• Analyze and follow up warranty costs.
• Ensure that correct provisions are made for additional costs and warranty reserves.
• Monthly closing primarily concerning the income statement part.
• Reconciliations and monthly reporting.
• Monitor that currency transactions in sales and purchases in foreign currency are conducted in accordance with the company's currency policy.

Suitable background

We are looking for someone with a university degree in finance and about 3-4 years of experience in financial and project controlling. You have worked in SAP S4/Hana and are used to navigating effectively in the system. Additionally, you have very good knowledge of Excel and use it as a natural tool in your daily analysis and reporting work. Knowledge of letters of credit, bank guarantees, as well as experience in currency management and hedging (F/X) is an advantage.

You are used to taking responsibility, and we believe you have a strong interest in working digitally and smartly with various systems. You are proficient in English, both spoken and written, and have no problem reading and understanding financial documentation and manuals in English.
